Gain Current Amplifier

The module is low cost and features low noise with high gain capabilities in order to convert the photodiode signal to a linearized, regulated signal (required for power measurement applications). It is a single stage transimpedance amplifier with 3 switchable gains, designed for use with all high impedance photodiodes such as silicon and InGaAs. An optional bias pin allows the user to apply reverse bias voltages to the photodiode or to operate in zero bias (set up for grounded Anode) mode. The amplifier plugs directly into the 1-channel low noise power supply #57-629 (not included with amplifier).
Note: If a reverse bias does not need to be applied to the photodiode, the bias pin must be connected to case ground to get correct voltage output.
