High Resistivity Silicon offers a number of advantages versus other common Terahertz substrates, such as TPX(polymethylpentene), PE (polyethylene) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). High Resistivity Silicon features flat transmission at shorter wavelengths (<200µm) as well as increased mechanical and thermal stability.

Perfect for use in Terahertz imaging, our High Resistivity Silicon Hyper Hemispheres come in a wide range of thicknesses to suit a variety of applications. Custom sizes are available for OEM quantities, please contact our Applications Engineering Department to discuss your requirements.
